Even with the reach of the online world, Daniela Ursache, our founder, often felt that something was missing – the feeling of truly being present with people who see you not just as a photographer, but as a human being.

Daniela is an international newborn photography educator who has traveled the world teaching and inspiring photographers. Along the way, she has witnessed the power of shared learning, vulnerability, and creative growth. She dreamed of creating a space where people could be open and honest, a place to share successes, doubts, personal stories, and the messy middle, where everyone feels seen, heard, and valued.

The Summit is guided by three core values: connection, education, and inspiration. Every voice matters, no matter your experience. Collaboration is celebrated over competition. We know many of us were taught to compete, but we believe the greatest gift we can give one another is support. When one of us grows, the entire industry grows with them.

Today, the Summit takes place in Romania and Ireland, bringing together newborn, family, maternity, and portrait photographers alongside leading industry brands, including print labs, photography equipment providers, software developers, and prop suppliers. Each year, the Summit grows stronger, and we are committed to expanding to more countries while delivering even greater value to the photography community.
