Rachel Vanoven is a newborn and family photographer and educator based in Indiana, USA. With more than a thousand newborn sessions behind her and years of experience working with families, she has dedicated the past decade to guiding photographers toward clarity and confidence in their craft.

Her teaching style is known for being practical and deeply responsive. Instead of separating lighting, posing, editing, and business into isolated topics, she brings them together in a single, natural conversation that reflects how real sessions actually unfold. She adapts every workshop to the people in front of her, focusing on what they need most in that moment.

She is also the founder of The Collective, an online learning community where photographers grow through classes, live mentorship, and honest discussions about the realities of building a sustainable creative business.
